TAG: Altair Eastlake
It still didn't seem warm enough for quidditch, and yet, the teams for each House were still fighting against the cold temperatures in preparation for their upcoming matches. Even after close to four years of watching Leon Carson showing off, Finn still didn't know the intricacies of the game nor did he care. He was only there to watch one person and run for help if, or when, he injured himself.
Which is why even though the sunlight was waning, Finn still sat in the stands staring out across the field as the green grass glow in the late golden light as the shadows grew longer across the field. The Gryffindor team was finishing up their practice, or whatever these things were called where they showed up and flew about, but Leon was still racing back and forth along the pitch against another student Finn recognized by didn't know.
It was then that he heard a noise behind him and turned his head to look in the direction the sound originated from. Behind him and a little to the left was Altair. Somehow the two had managed not to step on each other’s toes too much, in spite of being in the same year and dorm. But there still almost felt as if there were a wall between them poisoning any chance at more than a superficial existence. He gave a small wave out of politeness and nothing more, leaving the ball in the other's court.
