From the time Athena Mauntell was able to pay attention to the world around her enough to understand she knew one thing. One day she would be arranged to marry a suitable boy to carry on the Pureblood traditions. As a child she dreamed of the day she would be placed with a boy perfect for her to love and wed. It was the naive thoughts of a five year old. Once she grew older she came to see what it would really be. IT wouldn't be a boy she was head over heels for. It could be any kind of boy her parents assumed to be worthy. Apparently for Athena that would prove to be difficult. As a Hogwarts 6th year she stood on her third Engagement after two disastrous attempts. Dominik Fray had been her lucky number three and she didn't even know yet just how different things would be.
"I swear it wasn't on purpose. I took one step left when it was supposed to be right. Your foot just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time." A giggle fell from the Gryffindors lips as she bit off a piece of Apple Taffy. The couple sat on a quilt in the middle of one of Hogwart's bridges. Each time they picnicked they tried to find a new place. Explore the grounds while getting to know each other. "Okay. My turn." Thena hummed as she tried to think of a question. The taffy found it's way to her mouth once more as she bit a piece. "What is your most embarrassing moment? I am keeping my fingers crossed for peeing yourself in public." Thena brought her free hand up and crossed both her fingers before laughing.
