By some miracle, she'd done it. The Quaffle was in her grasp and Aspen tipped up her broomstick, leaning forward and coughing as she sped toward the Slytherin goal posts. Hopefully she didn't sneeze all over the red ball.

Maddox kept a tight grip on the handle of his broom. At least as well as he could with gloved hands that kept his hands safe. With his hair pulled back to keep his dark locks out of his eyes, he surveyed the field. He couldn't tell whom had the quaffle, but when he figured it out, he'd be ready.

Barty mounted his broom with everyone else and kicked up from the ground. He immediately took his place by the hoops, watching as the balls were released. They would be playing against Gryffindor today.

There was so much going on in the field, that Maddox couldn't keep his head on straight. His eyes darted from one green, and silver blur to another. The loud, jarring crowds didn't help with his oncentration either, but he managed to tune them out well enough with the help of the plugs in his ears.

As was typical of Barty before a match, he'd decided not to feed. It was probably dangerous for a vampire to ignore eating before a game, but it made him a more aggressive player. He gripped his broom tight and hovered in the air, watching as the game unfolded.

Flying around on the hunt for bludgers, Altair turned his attention to Beatrix. Merlin, she was such a babe on a broom. The fact that she was so good at quidditch made him a million times more attracted to her.

It was always amusing to Barty to play against the Gryffindor team when he hadn't eaten. They ended up looking like giant blood bags to him as they rode their brooms across the field. Holy shit, it was a good thing he wasn't a beater...

Perhaps the plugs were a bad idea, though. It was difficult to hear the captain calling anything out, if they were; He wouldn't be able to tell regardless. But Maddox kept them in, which helped him focus on the players -- at least what he could make out past his goggles.
