Unfortunately for Beatrix, she did not catch the quaffle in time, though who could blame her. She was a professional seeker; not a chaser. Still, the lack of skill was something to be embarrassed by, especially when people assumed you to be some kind of quidditch prodigy.

Her attention for the position was already falling. While it may be shiny, the snitch wasn’t the kindest of all the balls on the field. One would think it was the bludger that was the meanest but – at least – they made their presence known.

Hovering over to his goal posts, Altair too his position and rolled his shoulders back. He did want to play seeker, but Keeper was definitely his second choice. Cracking his knuckles, Al watched as the quaffle was released and the game began.

The November air was refreshing. It wouldn't help him to catch the snitch, considering he avoided the sun even with his ring. Still, it was nice to know he wouldn't be playing the match freezing cold or soaking wet.

This was Anthony's first game. He honestly couldn't believe he'd made it on the team but that was a good sign, right? He hoped he wouldn't make a fool of himself. Taking off from the pitch, he braced himself for his first game.

Watching as everything unfolded on the pitch, Al was ready. After the last match, he felt like he had a lot to prove. Well, not really. He did what he had to do, it wasn’t his fault the rest of the team didn’t.

Gripping his broom tight, Barty began a slow circle around the outside of the pitch. He figured the snitch would be easier to find away from the mix of robe colors in the center. He kept his eyes pealed toward the others, just in case.

Sasha pulled the sunglasses down over her eyes and pushed off the ground, immediately finding her place hovering above the crowd. Her team was arriving and the balls had been released. She had to admit, beater was more her speed than keeper had been.

Beatrix felt a sense of helplessness wash over her. She didn't have the quaffle with her, but she craved to have it in her hands. Perhaps, if she was fast enough, she could take the quaffle from the other team!

Still, he had to get his name known here at Hogwarts to attract attention. Losing matches wasn’t going to do that for him, even if he did his job well. Which meant he had to trust his team to do what they had to do on the pitch.
