[ The Grand Entrance ] category. If you would like to take one of the many classes offered at HOS, and keep track of house points with the

HOS is 5 years old, has over 200 boards, 3,000 members, and teaches many magical subjects so don't hesitate to check out the

Deadly Plague Spreads Through Hogwarts:

Not much is known about this ancient plague, though some theorize it was purposely created. Reports speculate that the Death Eaters plot to eliminate all magical forces of the world, beginning with Hogwarts School, in an effort to gain power, but is this really the case?

Sources report the current Order Leader, Karis Kaotic, might also be involved. Nasty rumor or cold, hard truth? Could our good girl have finally snapped? And if the rumors are true...is she being controlled by the Death Eater leader, Katarina Summers?

Well the Daily Prophet has the dirty truth! In an 'off the record' interview with the Minister of Magic (Off the record, yes. But we're the Daily Prophet! We do whatever we want!), it was divulged to the Daily Prophet that Katarina Summers and Karis Kaotic have been spotted on multiple occasions lurking about Knockturn Alley carrying dark bags of what are believed to be ingredients.

Ingredients to make a delicious pumpkin pie, or to create a leathal weapon strong enough to eliminate the competition? You be the judge. But my money is on the second. Watch out, Carrie Masters! Those girls just might be after your title!

Of course, the Minister is convinced there is no danger.

"We do not believe there is anything to worry about," the Minister said late Saturday night when the first outbreak was reported. "Stiff joints and headaches aren't enough to diagnose a plague. The Ministry is dealing with no more than an outbreak of the flu! We have Aurors keeping a close eye on Miss Summers and Miss Kaotic, as well. So rest assured, if any mischief were afoot, we'd catch it first!"

Ha! Flu, indeed.

Katarina Summers and Karis Kaotic are taking over as the evil on HOS for the next couple of months. Because of some spell fluke both of them have decided to kill off everyone so that they will be in charge. This includes both of their followers. Death Eaters and Order members are encouraged to work together during these couple months to help stop Karis and Katarina from destroying both ways of life. No longer is it about Mudbloods and Muggles vs. Pureblood supremacy. It is about staying alive and saving the world.

Members will receive PMs randomly if they have gotten the virus via Karis Kaotic. If you get a PM just follow the directions and enjoy!

Meet the Staff - Katarina Summers

Walk around her like you are walking on a rickety bridge that travels over the mouth of a volcano and is made from shards of broken glass. In other words, tread lightly around this red head. She doesn't take kindly to strangers and sometimes she doesn't even treat those she regards as friends with the nicest of attitudes. She is temperamental, withdrawn, manipulative, but brilliant. A Slytherin Graduate she left Hogwarts with the some of the highest marks in Potions the school has ever seen which is why shortly after graduation she was hired as the Potions Professor.

However while she was still in school she went through several major transformations, no pun intended, to get to where she is today. As a first year she was shy and withdrawn till a trip in the forest got her bitten by a rouge werewolf. While in the hospital healing she was approached by the Death Eater Leader who was recruiting students who showed promise. She was offered the chance to join their ranks and be taught how to use her newfound curse; she accepted. The shy girl rapidly became one of the most notorious students in school. Every guy wanted her, every girl wanted to be her, she was at the top of her game. Of course playing with fire she was bound to get burned so when she tried to have her cake and eat it too she ended up destroying her life. And once one domino toppled so did another and another leaving her in ruins for her last years of Hogwarts.

Her fierceness is still there and she is more dangerous than ever before, but she is more subtle about it now. Maturity perhaps finally came about in her life. Make no mistake though, piss her off and it will be the last thing you do.

The Real Me

Penn State | 20 | Junior

As stated above my real name is Brittany Ann Harris (the chick in green pictured above) and thankfully I am nothing like my character. I have zero temper and it is very, very hard to upset me. I am a very understanding person so please never hesitate to talk to me.

I am currently a student at Penn State University the #1 Party School in the great nation of the U.S. of A. but I'm not here for the parties though they are quite superb. My major is Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences and I plan to go on to Grad school right after I graduate so I can get my license to practice. I have two younger siblings Christopher, a Senior in High School, and Robin, a 6th grader. I also have three dogs, three cats, and a hermit crab named Bill. Currently I am living up at State College in Pennsylvania with my three lovely and crazy roommates. It is a blast, but it is hard being three hours away from my boyfriend of three years.

I am a full time student, but on my breaks and over the summer I work at a Dog Kennel which is not as easy as it sounds. I just got my very first apartment and am experiencing the empty pockets that comes with being a college student. Any of you are free to donate money to the Brittany fund at any time.

An Organization that raises money for pediatric cancer. It's one of those dance marathon fundraisers. I'm one of those people that will stand outside of a store come rain, sleet, or snow no matter the temperature asking for people to be kind enough to donate some spare change. It is the largest student run philanthropy in the world and last year Penn State raised over 7 million dollars for the Four Diamonds Fund.
