NOTICE! If, after some time, you request to have an account bumped down you will be placed back into the year you were originally in before applying for a Year Bump, Adult, and/or Muggle/Squib. Only in the case of advancing through each year with the account in question, may you select which year you are bumped down to. This has been added to all application threads in the Sorting Ceremony and will be added to the HOS F.A.Q. for future reference.

Please remember that, as a member with the power to move threads, they MUST be moved to the "REMOVED TOPICS TERM #" board located in the HOS Corner category, and nowhere else. The staff keeps finding threads in places where they don't belong. Make sure you have selected the correct board before moving threads to another area!

SITE-WIDE PLOT IC YEAR: 2043

At 7:35 in the morning, Mahoutokoro Castle in Japan was struck with an Earthquake. The damage was felt for miles, the castle shaking and crumbling around the students and staff as they married hurried escapes via portkeys. The students and staff found refuge but their school was in pieces.

Hogwarts and the other wizarding schools have graciously offered their castles to help those in need finish their education and continue to teach. Some students may decide to remain in Japan, opting for homeschooling but it was encouraged by the Ministry to have them transfer for proper education. The ministry has also placed aurors and other staff members in Hogwarts to keep the peace as the student population grows.

The excitement buzzed through the corridors of various castles as new students began to arrive but underneath all that buzz was a growing sense of worry. That earthquake wasn’t natural.
